humpback?
@@bobrice5159 I’m not sure! I don’t believe so.
Righteous! Give whales space!!!
W whale
@@vinny8413 agreed!
Orcas are the bullies of the sea
Baileen whale, likely a bowhead or humpback
wasn't an orca
That's a humpback
What kind of whale was that? Also, I wonder if it was intentional like the orcas have been doing to the sail boats?
Probably bowhead or humpback
it wasn't intentional the whale was just mid breach and hit the boat
it's not an orca...way bigger
@@thomasschwab1727 I believe it was just feeding on bait. Not supposed to drive over bait balls! Think it was just an accident! Not sure what kind of whale it was!
well thought out, practical incorporation of two styles. Do the feathers kick on the jerk? Ever put a short articulated shank on for the tail. Try Preditor wrap for flash. Drabon tail? What a chassis. Thanks. Bob
@@TheStreamUrchin1 hey, thank you! They do give some good movement and I have tried a mono extended body, like a beast fly. That worked well, but I hate tying on mono. Never tried a predator wrap, but will definitely in the future!
Great Fly Can't wait to try it here In the Bay of Fundy, and the Northumberland Strait in New Brunswick
Tying a couple tonight, will give them a try tomorrow night. This is exactly what I was looking for. Good video
That's going to get bit nice 👍
Caught my first stripers ever at Chatham Bar lighthouse with this exact Fly and color! Congrats!
@@davidstudeman3377 awesome! It’s a great fly!
In england it’s carp, brook trout are underrated as hell
The one that gets away.😂😂
@@jcsechrist60 😂
I honestly can't think of an overrated fish to catch. It's all fun! Top fish for me are bass and pike and my least favorite to catch are probably bluegill and other pan fish. But on the other hand, pan fish can get so pretty that they're fun to catch as well. I guess I'd say Bluegill if I had to pick
They are all fun, I’ll give you that!
Anything you soak bait for. But people who “ blue line Brookies” seem like snobs
I know a lot of those people. Not all are snobs I can attest! But some….
Catfish......
Never caught one on a fly!
Bass
A lot of people been saying this!
Bass
Trout in general
Trout in general
I like rainbows a lot!
Walleye. It’s just like hauling a boot up from the bottom.
Ya that’s no fun!
I agree
Hello! Striper season!
“The one time I didn’t bring my fishing pole.”
That’s a nice looking fly but the black caddis in this area are tiny compared with this one.
Ours too, but videos of size 20 hooks are hard to make clear!
BBL DRIZZY 🎵🎶🎶
Oh my god even fishing channels are using BBL drizzy 😭 😭
I can’t stop listening to it!
Sometimes
Good idea! 🙂
Thank you for the help
I’m ready for it
The precision is crazy I could never
Great thanks for sharing
Great job
Great looking fly M8!!! I just "might have to" scale this one down for trout here in Iceland.
Great pattern..how do you like to dye your hackle feathers ?
Love the videos
Great review...i used Loon Thin and Solarez Bone Dry...the Solarez for me is better as there is NO TACK,while Loon has some.
Omg I love your art 🎉❤
That's not art, that a life style
Great pattern can't wait to try, do you also have video using synthetic hair?
what hook you using?
What color thread is being used? Red?
Yes
Hi. What is the thread you are using?
Sheer 14/0
Good video- I like this fly. I think of it like a winter time clouser (when I’m not in a rush at my vice and I can use more materials). It’s a great fly in the NE for stripers and blues.
very nice tie. out west here in BC I tie them sparse, sparse, sparse. everyone ties their spey flies differently.
God is the only genius
Looks like a brown trout
Just tell me which spot your fishing in and I will come find your gold ring with my metal detector..😂😂😂😂jk but you would be surprised how many rings and phones we find where people are fishing or rafting in most of these shallow Creek water s
That suspiciously looks like some NH fish.
Souther Maine! I bet they are same strain of rainbow though!
Red fish?
As a fly tying newbie, I got sucked into buying every new material that came on the market. Now I’ve got hundreds of $s tied up in materials I may have used once. It looks like I’ll have to try one more!
😂 this sounds so familiar!
